The Codex 3: The anatomy of a Hidden Blade

Commentary: Um...I'm no engineer, so I have no idea what's going on here. Feel free to fill me in. I do know though, that do create the hidden blade, ball bearings would have been essential. Ball bearings were those little balls you see in the contraptions that allow your drawer to slide in and out seamlessly. What is interesting is that the man who invented ball bearings happens to be Leonardo Da Vinci. A testimony to Des and his team's foresight? Plugging this into the universe, it is very likely that Da Vinci took the invention from the hidden blade's design. It could even be his knowledge of ball bearings that allowed him to recreate the hidden blade.
