Commentary: Altair analyses the chaos in his surroundings, how violent the natural world is. Its a pessimistic outlook but one that keeps in with the theme of Assassin's Creed. The world is seen as a meaningless one with laws and expectations invented by men to control mankind. The struggle between Assassin and Templar is a struggle for mankind's soul. It is a struggle between the human and the animal. The overman and the last man, Nietzche says.
